Boris Čuchran - new Member of the Board of LBBW Bank CZ

As of January 2nd 2012, Boris Čuchran has become the new member of the Board of Directors of LBBW Bank CZ. Mr. Čuchran will be responsible for divisions of Personal and Private banking as well as Market Management.

Mr. Čuchran (45) joins LBBW Bank CZ from Generali Bulgaria, where he held position of company’s CEO since 2009 as well as CEO of GP Reinsurance in Bulgaria, a reinsurance company for Generali PPF Group operating in all CEE region. In his new position as the Member of the Board of LBBW Bank CZ he will be responsible for personal and private banking, product management and sector and branch network management.

Mr. Čuchran has more than 17 years of extensive international and domestic experience in banking and insurance sector. Prior to joining LBBW Bank CZ, Mr. Čuchran worked in Paris as manager for Groupama International and later as senior management consultant in Deloitte Management Consulting. Later he worked as Executive Director of Strategy Division in ČSOB in Prague and within the ČSOB group he also worked as CEO of Slovak ČSOB Poisťovna. Mr. Čuchran later on founded the Czech subsidiary of AEGON insurance company where he also acted as its CEO.

Mr. Čuchran received his JUDr. degree from the Faculty of Law at the Komenského University in Bratislava and he also graduated from the prestigious French institution Ecole Nationale d’Administration in Paris and Institute of International relations in Moscow. He speaks fluently Czech, Slovak, Russian, French and English.

He is married with one child and dedicates his leisure time to mountaineering, biking, horse riding and history.
